Many articles and reports are published every year in biological journals and books about bird mites. Genetic scientists and researchers whose work is focused on bird mites need to find, retrieve, and store information about these publications. This project presents biologists with a database for storing and retrieving information about bird mite articles and publications. Moreover, this project includes applications that transform common types of genetic DNA sequence information to either a graphical representation for the human eye or other common formats used by genetic sequencing software applications used by biologists.
