Wednesday, February 21, 2007 - 17:30
TH 331
Mike Mages, Digital Sister Cities Lab

DSC Lab is actively developing commercial applications and games for collaboration and interactivity for use on a new high speed next generation network called LightPaths. The LightPath network is being developed by the same technologists that developed the current internet. This new network has been designed to answer the needs of the high resolution media based future by providing support for realtime media interaction, deterministic low latency connections, extremely high bandwidth and the same security provided by private networks.

At this seminar you will learn about the new LightPath Network and details of the exciting projects under development at DSC Lab. After the presentation, you will meet the industry leaders who are leading the development and will have an opportunity to interview for engineering and design positions that are presently available.
