Ms. Nanci Knight is the IBM Academic Initiative’s Alliance Executive for colleges and universities in the West Region of the U.S. In this role, she is responsible for partnering with faculty to enhance business & technical curriculum by leveraging IBM software, courseware, industry content, technical publications, case studies, project-based learning and cloud compute resources.
Prior to joining the University Relations team, Ms. Knight was responsible for driving IBM Global Services consulting engagements within California’s Silicon Valley high-tech, semi-conductor, electronics, search, social media, security and gaming industry client base. She also spent two years developing business opportunities in North America for IBM’s technology start-ups & business partners headquartered in Israel.
Before joining IBM, Ms. Knight enjoyed a successful career in global technology management, ebusiness consulting, online banking & brokerage product development, investment banking and strategic alliances in the financial services industry.
Ms. Knight is a graduate of UC Berkeley.
