Data Perceptualization and User Experience

Data Perceptualization and User Experience Image

A cutting-edge computer science research program in data perceptualization, visual analytics, human interface, and computer graphics focuses on advancing the equitable and accessible representations of and interaction with large and complex data sets. The program explores innovative techniques for rendering and visually representing data in intuitive and aesthetically pleasing ways, enables users to interactively explore and analyze data through use of visual representations to gain insight, identify patterns and make data-driven decisions, and enhances user experiences through interactive interfaces. By leveraging state-of-the-art computational technologies, this program aims to bridge the gap between data analytics and human cognition, enabling more effective data-driven decision-making and communication.
