Abstract

SWIG is widely used in the embedded world because of the conveniences, tool support and debug capabilities that can be leveraged by having a Python interface for C/C++ library. We’ll talk about some of the applications along with a brief overview of how SWIG works.

Aaron Cruz is a Senior Software Engineer at Cisco Systems who focuses on embedded software development with 8 years of industry experience. Cruz has focused his career on physical middleware software for communication devices like Software Defined Radios and Networking Routers.
