CS Department College Tour

The Computer Science Academy at Oakland Technical High School coordinated a campus visit with several of our majors to learn more about the prospects of becoming a Computer Science student at SFSU.

CS SFSU students Mark Kim, Ashley Ching, Kieth Curry, Gabby Brown, Arizza Christobal, and Zachary Weinstein each played a role in representing the CS Department and SFSU by giving the approximately 50 visiting high school students a walking tour of campus and participating in a Q&A session where they shared their individual ‘Day in the Life’ experiences as current CS majors at SFSU. After the tour, all participating CS majors mingled with the high school students while enjoying Nizario’s Pizza from Cesar Chavez Student Center.
