Instructor Joseph Hui Featured on CBS News for Commitment to Helping Youth

Joseph Hui, an instructor here at SFSU has been featured on CBS News for turning his passion for bikes into a mission to support local teens in need. Starting out by repairing bikes in his garage for charity, Hui has now given away over 5,000 bikes to students and young people, many of whom, like him, grew up in foster care. Hui uses his love for bikes as a way to connect with these students, offering them not only a means of transportation but also guidance on overcoming life's challenges. Through his efforts, Hui has become a role model, inspiring the next generation to break the cycle of poverty and strive for success.
