CS Department Graduation Celebration 2023

To celebrate the achievements of our Computer Science students, the department held a Graduation Celebration for all CS undergraduates and graduates who earned their degrees during the 2022-2023 academic year. Nearly 500 guests and graduates gathered in the Gym. The Dean of the College of Science and Engineering, Dr. Carmen Domingo and featured commencement speaker, Dr. Richard Gerber addressed those in attendance.

At the ceremony, the department also recognized two faculty members, Professor Daniel Huang and Professor Bill Hsu. Professor Huang was the recipient of the Petkovic Family Teaching Excellence Award. Professor Hsu will be retiring from the CS department after 31 years working for SFSU.
