SFSU Recognizes Excellence in Teaching with Award to CS Lecturer

San Francisco State University's Computer Science Department is proud to announce Duc Ta as the recipient of the 2024 Academic Senate Excellence in Teaching Award for Lecturer Faculty. This award recognizes the outstanding teaching contributions of lecturers across the entire SFSU campus.

Duc, a master's graduate from the department (Spring 2010), returned to SFSU in Fall 2017 as a full-time lecturer. Since then, he has consistently garnered praise from students for his dedication, approachability, and passion for teaching. Students highlight his willingness to go the extra mile, offering personalized support and resources to ensure their success.

The Department congratulates Duc Ta on this well-deserved recognition of his exceptional teaching skills.
